Project Overview
Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. The Ohio One project will span 2.5 million square feet, including 600,000 square feet of cleanroom space, and will require massive structural components.
Job Summary
As a member of the CWE Organization, you will support the delivery of Field Leadership Development Programs and manage specific components of the CWE Program. You will report to the CWE Operations Lead and work closely with Project Management teams and other stakeholders to build relationships, coach field leaders, and schedule training participants.
Major Responsibilities
Maintain working relationships with Bechtel Construction and CWE Management to create, coordinate, and facilitate all CWE programs.
Maintain active relationships with Project Management teams and appropriate levels of the Bechtel organization.
Maintain contact with site IR/LR manager and recruiters under the direction of the COL.
Build relationships to understand productivity constraints impacting work‑face performance.
Support effective functioning of Work‑face Leadership and act as a coach in problem‑solving.
Coordinate scheduling of participants in various aspects of the Field Leadership Development Programs.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience, or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Identify and build development opportunities to close leadership gaps and drive behavior change.
Coach and mentor employees in leadership and supervisory development.
Recommend qualified field leaders for talent pools, promotions, and project transitions.
Develop independent solutions and collaborate with teams to propose solutions.
Adapt communication styles to diverse audiences.
Manage own emotions and influence others’ emotions effectively.
Adjust emotions to adapt to multiple environments.
Support business goals through direct influence on outcomes and actions.
Create an inclusive environment that encourages innovation and problem solving.
Facilitate leadership workshops and possess experiential learning expertise.
