Job Details
Responsibilities

Managing a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters

Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while also managing responses to discovery requests.

Conducting legal research and analysis to develop effective defense strategies.

Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Maintaining regular communication with clients, providing case updates and discussing legal strategies.

Staying updated on current laws, court decisions, and industry trends related to insurance defense.

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Insurance Defense Associate position should possess the following qualifications:

Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Active member in good standing with the State Bar.

Exceptional legal writing skills with a strong attention to detail.

Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
