Corporate/Transactional Associate – Charlotte, NC
Well known and respected law firm is seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate to join its powerhouse Corporate/M&A practice in their Charlotte office.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a steady flow of sophisticated transactions with meaningful responsibility and strong client exposure. The practice represents a diverse client base, including private equity groups, strategic buyers, and large & middle-market companies across a range of industries.
Responsibilities
Support and lead various aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, drafting, and closing
Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements and ancillary agreements
Advise clients on corporate governance and general business matters
Collaborate with deal teams on complex transactions
Qualifications
3–6 years of corporate / transactional experience in a law firm setting
Experience with M&A, private equity, or general corporate work
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast‑paced environment
