
Behavioral Technician II / Qualified Mental Health Professional

Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a Behavior Technician II to work with guests living with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and mental health challenges at our Adult Crisis Therapeutic Home in Woodbridge, VA. The position requires direct support of individuals with co‑occurring disabilities and behavioral health needs.
Your Role in Our Mission
As a Behavior Technician II, you will facilitate daily programs and rehabilitative activities, provide therapeutic interventions, and assist with personal care. You will collaborate closely with participants’ primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive rate: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
Sign‑on and retention bonuses paid at 3, 6, and 12 months for full‑time new hires, with additional yearly stipends as grant funding permits
Paid training: CPR / first‑aid, Mindset, Medication Administration, Infectious Disease, and Seizure Management

What We’re Looking For
Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee (BT II) or ability to register as a Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee and be approved within 30 days of hire
Experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health disorders required
Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles used for work
