Job Description
We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a skilled care unit within an acute hospital setting. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering high‑quality patient care to individuals with various diagnoses, including but not limited to weakness, fractures, and COPD exacerbations.
Responsibilities
Administer medications and perform wound care, Foley catheter insertion, IV therapy, tube feeding, and ostomy care.
Assist patients with daily activities, including feeding, bathing, and personal hygiene.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
Provide excellent patient care while adhering to hospital protocols and practices.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers are accepted.
Current BLS certification required.
For LPNs, IV certification is preferred; competency will be assessed on‑site.
Must possess a valid West Virginia nursing license or certification (WV Cares) prior to start.
