Job Overview
The Physical Therapist evaluates, develops, and implements treatment plans for patients.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan and implement therapeutic programs based on established goals, considering medical recommendations, protocols, and precautions. Programs may involve the administration of modalities.
Supervise the treatments provided by Physical Therapist Assistants relative to the goals and treatment plans of patients; communicate with PTA regarding patient prognosis.
Complete documentation that meets federal and state guidelines.
Maintain licensure in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
Currently licensed in Massachusetts as a Physical Therapist.
Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
1+ years of outpatient experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Salary for this role ranges from $72,800 to $130,000 annually for full-time employment. In addition to salary, benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (subject to eligibility).
