The GSOC Intelligence & Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing GSOC operations during their designated work hours. This manager will collaborate closely with the other GSOC Intelligence & Operations Managers to ensure continuity, smooth transitions, and collective success across the entire GSOC operation. This role will involve providing expert guidance on security incidents and internal policies, while managing a team of GSOC Intelligence & Operations Analyst and Supervisors. The manager will ensure high service delivery standards, operational excellence, and proactive risk management. A key aspect of the role is balancing effective people leadership, process optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration. This manager will be instrumental in driving performance, upholding compliance standards, and maintaining consistent, high‑quality service across global security operations. This position is located at a client site in Sunnyvale, CA.
Compensation And Benefits
Depending on experience, Securitas will offer a salary $110,000 - $114,000, in addition to a full benefits package that includes:

Essential Functions
Provide daily oversight and leadership for all GSOC activities, ensuring alignment with the organization’s security and business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of GSOC Intelligence & Operations Analyst and Supervisors, fostering a high-performance culture.
Act as the first incident commander in response to global incidents, taking the lead in coordinating and managing the response, and ensuring proper escalation until resolution or handover to senior leadership.
Review and analyze Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, Incident Notifications, and Employee Advisories, to monitor operational performance, ensure timely and accurate communication, and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with senior security leadership on key initiatives, investigations, and long‑term planning to enhance overall security operations.
Interface with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies as necessary for significant incidents and ensure proper escalation procedures are followed.
Monitor compliance with relevant regulations, contractual obligations, and industry best practices to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
Provide first‑line support for GSOC technology platforms and collaborate with partner resources to ensure system reliability and performance.
Conduct quality assurance checks and track operative performance, monitoring random calls to improve quality, minimize errors, and enhance team effectiveness.
Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational training content to ensure operational excellence.
Track, report, and optimize performance metrics, KPIs, and SLAs to meet internal and external expectations.
Maintain relationships with global security clients and cross‑departmental stakeholders, ensuring a strong understanding of business operations and requirements.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience in a GSOC or similar security operations environment.
Deep understanding of security operations, incident response, and risk mitigation.
Ability to manage teams across multiple shifts and locations in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to develop and implement SOPs, training programs, and performance metrics.
Proficiency in using and supporting security technologies such as surveillance, access control, and incident management systems.
Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable improvements.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Maintain a prominent level of confidentiality towards all security related matters.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in security management, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CEM).
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Incident and Crisis Management
GSOC Analyst or Intelligence Programs
Travel Risk Management
Data Center Security Operations
Familiarity with privacy and regulatory standards impacting security operations.
Education/Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in SOC operations or comparable experience in security management.
Strong operational knowledge of technical security systems such as Security Access Control Systems, Video Surveillance Systems, Alarm Monitoring Systems, and Threat Management Software.
Strong computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
California Security Guard license.
CPR/AED/First Aid Training Certification preferred.
