Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) – Job Type: PRN

Responsibilities

Support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, ensuring the schedule/program is delivered consistently.

Supervise patients and maintain safety; treat patients and guests with respect and dignity.

What We're Looking For

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

License: Valid driver’s license and favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital-owned vehicle.

CPR certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.

Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.

Completion of additional age-specific training within 30 days of employment as required.

Previous experience in a psychiatric health facility, with direct experience in chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
