Travel Nurse RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Pocatello, Idaho.
TNAA TotalMed RN is hiring a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13‑week travel assignment. The role involves 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years recent acute‑care experience.
Responsibilities
As an L&D Travel Nurse you will provide continuous patient care and support before, during, and after delivery:
Monitor labor and assist with fetal monitoring.
Support patients with breathing techniques and contraction management.
Check cervix to monitor labor progress.
Maintain a clean and safe environment, including proper cleaning of bodily fluids.
Assist the physician with instruments, drapes, gloves, gowning, and delivery procedures.
Provide immediate newborn care.
Qualifications
Required:
Registered Nurse license.
3 years recent acute‑care experience.
ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN certifications.
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
