Job Title: Mental Health Technician II – Dusy Foster Home
Location: Dusy Home, Dothan, Alabama
Schedule
12-hour Pitman schedule: 7 PM – 7 AM
Work Weeks
Week I: Monday, Thursday, Friday
Week II: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
Base Pay
$14 per hour plus $2 shift differential.
Responsibilities
Various activities to meet consumer needs, including meal preparation, facility cleaning, and assisting with daily tasks.
Teaching group and individual basic living skills.
Providing transportation using the system vehicle when required by the program.
Ensuring efficient operation of the facility.
Assisting with medication administration under MAC certification and nurse supervision.
Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system.
Requirements
HS Diploma or GED.
Must be 21 years or older, have a good MVR, and be willing to submit to a motor vehicle report check.
Must be willing to submit to a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire.
Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment.
