Job Summary
This position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus. Full Time, Days.
Responsible for maintaining high standards for decontamination, assembly, inspecting, wrapping, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment for surgical services and ancillary departments. This includes working in conjunction with the OR staff to provide timely sterile procedure trays and instruments where applicable. The Sterile Processing Assistant maintains consistency and continuous workflow between the OR and Sterile Processing while practicing above average customer service.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: High school graduate
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 2‑years in a hospital patient care area
Required Certification: BLS
Required Licensure: None
FLSA Status: Non‑exempt

Note – Certification is preferred.
