Are you looking for a rewarding career in Nursing? We are currently searching for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our friendly, caring, and supportive team at Oakwood Care Center.
Position and Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, you are the backbone of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the medication and nursing care they need as directed by their individual care plan, conduct resident assessments, be a team leader, and advocate for your residents. Our residents depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
Responsibilities
Provide medication administration and nursing care as directed by individual care plans.
Perform resident assessments and monitor health status.
Act as a team leader and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Advocate for residents and ensure their safety and comfort.
Qualifications
Minimum requirement: An unencumbered State of Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Prior LPN experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
