Occupational Therapist - Full Time

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital, Wildomar, CA, United States


Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic services to patients in Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital (Wildomar, CA) and Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital (Murrieta, CA). Patient care includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of occupational therapy treatment plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to facilitate patient recovery and discharge planning. Patient education and counseling regarding disease processes, interpretive cues, and adaptive equipment as needed.

Employee may be required to float between the two facilities based on operational needs, receiving appropriate orientation and competency validation.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year occupational therapy experience in an acute care facility (preferred).

Completion of a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.

Licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.

BLS (CPR) certification.
