Location: UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital, Fort Collins, CO

Department: PVH Pharmacy Residency

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $22.80 - $29.64 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Summary
Trains in and performs the appropriate selection, dosing, administration, and dispensing of medication orders as defined by the American Society of Healthcare Pharmacist (ASHP) residency standards.

Responsibilities

Manages pharmaceutical care and protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.

Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug-related problems.

Provides drug information and education to medical staff and patients.

Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy.

State licensure as a Pharmacist within 120 days of hire.

BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
