Registered Nurse - ER Holding

ED Hold Position!
Will float to MS/Tele when not being utilized in ED Holding.
The Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of evidence-based practice, pathophysiology, pharmacological implications, regulatory issues, and service line disease processes.
Responsibilities
Accurately and thoroughly documenting assessments.
Performing clinical procedures such as IV, Foley, and dressings.
Providing effective patient and family education.
Meeting standards in the proper use of telemonitoring, IV, ventilation, and safe medication administration.
Recognizing changes in a patient's condition.
Role modeling CPMC safety behaviors.
Reporting errors and daily near misses.
Acting as a patient advocate.
Working independently and as part of a team.
Accepting constructive feedback.Maintaining a professional appearance.
Completing tasks within the given timeframe and accepting duties as assigned.
Taking initiative and conducting necessary follow-up.
Requirements
CA RN Licensure
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
PALS
2 years of experience in ED
Must be willing to float to MS/Tele when not utilized in ED Hold
Shift
3 x 12‑hour night shifts; 1900-0730. Weekend rotation required, no on‑call requirement.
