Clinician-Emergency Services (Full Time)
Community Care Alliance is hiring a full‑time (36 hours) Emergency Services (ES) masters‑level clinician. ES is an interdisciplinary team of skilled and experienced behavioral health professionals. They respond to a variety of client crises in office‑ and community‑based settings. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, creative, and nimble in responding to crisis situations, and will maintain an anti‑oppression, non‑stigmatizing approach while working with high‑acuity, complex clients. This is a Monday‑Friday daytime position, with opportunities for on‑call and overtime hours available but never required.
Essential qualifications
Proven ability to assess and intervene with clients in crisis
Demonstrated knowledge and application of trauma‑informed care practices
Comfort and familiarity working within larger systems (e.g., with clients, families, hospitals and other providers, law enforcement and first responders, and with other community partners)
Demonstrated proficiency in completing biopsychosocial assessments and crisis assessments utilizing the DSM 5, ASAM, and evidence‑based screening tools
Minimum of one year employment in community mental health, Crisis Stabilization Unit, or an inpatient psychiatric setting
Education and licensing requirements
Master's degree in social work, counseling, forensic psychology, or related field
Independent licensure strongly preferred (LCDP, LMHC, LICSW)
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) preferred - or the candidate will receive free, in‑house training to obtain this certification
Valid driver's license required
