Highlights
Registered Nurse position responsible for supervising and coordinating nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care. Utilize the nursing process in patient assessment, planning, care implementation. Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians. Additional duties may be assigned.
Education and Experience
Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
License and Certification
Active RN licensure required, BLS required. Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.) may be required depending on area assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Observe, assess, and record work, safety, and infection control standards.
Work independently and in a team environment.
Foster a cooperative work environment.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Resolve customer complaints and concerns.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Position requires sitting 20% of the day and mobility 80%. Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching. Frequent reaching, use of hands, repetitive action. Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds. Continuous speaking with clear diction; hearing sensitivity for phone or in‑person conversation. Continuous visual acuity at close and distant ranges. Protected from weather but not temperature changes. Minimal noise levels. Exposure to computer work, risk of electrical shock, infectious disease, hazardous chemicals, radiation.
