Your Role as the Charge Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care within our skilled nursing community. You will supervise caregiving teams, oversee nursing services during assigned shifts, and ensure residents’ needs are met with professionalism, compassion, and compliance with state, federal, and Americare standards.

What You’ll Do

Oversee nursing services, administration, and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.

Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures.

Supervise and guide nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.

Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.

Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership.

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.

Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are being met.

Address, document, and report incidents, accidents, and concerns, including suspected abuse or neglect.

Ensure appropriate supplies, equipment, and medications are available and communicated to leadership.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety.

What You Bring

Licensure / Certification:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Experience & Skills

Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.

Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations.

Experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, or senior living preferred.

Physical Demands

Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers as needed.

Push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs., including resident mobility assistance up to 350 lbs.
