TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Nurse (RN) for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Responsibilities
Provide basic bedside care.
Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions.
Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
Take samples for lab work, order corresponding tests, and interpret reports.
Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays.
Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing.
Communicate patients' conditions to family members.
Requirements
ACLS certification
BLS certification
1 year recent acute care experience
Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds easily, and occasionally up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients.
Compensation
Pay is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
