Job Summary
TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. The assignment is 13 weeks, 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, travel type, with a tax‑free stipend.
Responsibilities
You will evaluate and monitor ICU patients, provide physician‑directed care, document, assess and implement care plans, delegate to other providers, and educate patient families. You will also:
Provide basic bedside care.
Administer and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
Collect samples for lab work, order and interpret reports.
Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and record electronic displays.
Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
Communicate patients' conditions to family members.
