Job Overview
TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU RN for a 13 week travel assignment in Macon, GA, starting 05/25/2026. 36 hours per week on 12 hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, monitor, and provide direct patient care in an ICU setting.
Document and provide physician directed care, assess and implement patient care plans, and delegate to other care providers as appropriate.
Provide education and support to patients and families, including communication for long term care needs.
Administer prescribed medication and manage adverse reactions.
Order and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab work, interpreting reports.
Operate specialized equipment, monitor and adjust settings, and record electronic displays.
Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
Communicate patients conditions to family members.
Qualifications
BLS and ACLS certification; 2 years recent acute care experience.
Current RN license.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; lift at least 20 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Experience dealing with patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.
