Responsibilities
Evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU setting.
Document and provide physician‑directed care.
Assess and implement patient care plans.
Delegate tasks to other care providers as appropriate.
Provide education and support to patient families.
Perform basic bedside care.
Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report adverse reactions.
Order and evaluate diagnostic tests; take samples for lab work.
Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and record electronic displays.
Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing.
Communicate patients' conditions to family members.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
ACLS and BLS certifications.
Physically able to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience in an ICU setting.
