Operations Associate
The Operations Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Overnight Operations Manager with all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. The Operations Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.

Responsibilities

Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment
Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks
Communicate effectively with the Overnight Operations Manager to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branch
Communicate effectively with the Overnight Operations Manager to address any operational issues
Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed
Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store
Physical Requirements
Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
Requires regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
Education
