The Warehouse Team Lead at Sunny Sky Products is responsible for coordinating daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and employee workflow. This position ensures accurate order fulfillment, regulatory compliance, and high operational efficiency while supporting company values and quality standards.
Responsibilities
This description is general in nature and not all duties are listed. Responsibilities include:
Lead and support warehouse associates in shipping, receiving, and material-handling tasks.
Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to safety, GMPs, and SOPs.
Serve as primary point of contact for drivers, carriers, and internal departments.
Greet and log drivers, verify BOLs, COAs, ensure orders are accurate.
Oversee picking, pallet building, loading, and unloading activities.
Maintain FIFO inventory rotation, proper labeling, and cooler/freezer organization.
Perform cycle counts, physical counts, and resolve inventory variances.
Maintain ERP accuracy, including SAP entries for receiving, picks, and shipments.
Generate logistics reports, lists, BOLs, shipment paperwork, and daily filings.
Monitor inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage.
Train employees in equipment operation, safety, and warehouse procedures.
Maintain clean, safe work areas and enforce all Sunny Sky Products warehouse standards.
Requirements
Ability to multitask in fast paced warehouse and office environment.
Satisfactorily pass forklift driving program.
Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
3-5 years’ experience in a Shipping & Receiving role.
Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and beverage manufacturing logistics preferred.
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
Ability to work in warehouse, cooler, and freezer environments.
Hours
Monday - Friday,7:30AM to 5:30PM
Weekend availability required as production needs may demand
Salary
$18.50 /hr.
