Position: Crane Operator
Immediate Supervisor: Crane Manager
Status: Non-Exempt, Non Union
General Purpose of Position:
Safely operate company cranes, lifting wireline pressure control equipment, isolation tools, valves, and other items primarily associated with oil and gas industry.
Essential Job Duties:
Safely mobilize and set up crane.
Understand and assist in rigging lifting equipment.
Safely and efficiently operate crane within regulatory compliance standards.
Keep up with day-to-day maintenance of crane, ensuring crane is kept in clean and proper working order.
Perform thorough inspections of equipment and report any identified issues to onsite supervisor immediately.
Additional Job Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Complete all company required safety documentation daily; JSEA, DVIR, Journey management, Observations Cards etc.
Maintain and foster professional relationships with all customers, staff, and vendors.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Environment:
Frequent exposure to outdoor elements including wet, humid conditions and extreme heat or cold. Exposure to oils and other materials on location. High noise level.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2-3 years related experience.
Maintain valid NCCCO Certification.
Have and maintain a valid commercial driver's license in the continental US.
Must be able to pass physical exam, drug and alcohol screening and comply with regulations as well as all company and customer policies.
Must be able to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods of time.
Occasional stooping, kneeling, standing, and walking on uneven surfaces.
Frequent climbing, balancing, reaching, sitting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Frequent carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to follow directions.
Ability to work irregular hours.
Ability to successfully solve problems.
Comply with all Stingray policies and procedures and all health and safety policies and regulations.
