Job Description
Working with the Client and user staff to develop design documents and SQL-driven screen prototypes from user requirements within a rapid turnaround cycle. Assist in presenting the resultant prototype to various end user audiences to demonstrate screen content, dialog, and usability and to identify and incorporate user-requested changes as directed by the technical leader. Transform the approved prototype and design into a JBOSS JEE, Primefaces, JSF, EJB and Hibernate application for external users to provide external authorization application, issuance, renewal and termination support. To do this, two systems exist to allow Client users to set up permit processing data and for external facility owners and operator to request, receive, renew and terminate Client operating authorization. Systems interact with other agency systems via web service, Oracle databases, and proxy technologies. Producing module specifications, unit test requirements, and system and integration test requirements. Implementing applications in complex environments in an iterative prototype-user evaluation life cycle with later more complex functional versions accessible to select external users via the internet to verify functional provisions and usability, including access by disabled person and those using screen readers such as JAWS and NVDA. Developing detailed flowcharts and models, implementing specifications, and performing modifications from design reviews, prototype evaluations and assessment testing. Producing running program modules, which meet Client and World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) specifications and standards. Outlining, formatting, and producing detailed program and user documentation. Performing acceptance testing and incorporating necessary changes prior to formal production release implementation. Communicating and working with people of all technical levels in a team environment.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Years-Required/Preferred-Experience
8-Required-Java Programming
8-Required-Java 1.6 - 1.8 or higher, Spring, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSF, Design Pattern experience. JavaScript, JSF, Design Pattern experience.
8-Required-Migration development from Legacy systems. Provide technical documentation on analytical efforts, development process, etc.
8-Required-Provide technical advise and advise on technical standards based on technology being implemented. Testing through unit, module and integration of development or integrated software.
3-Required-Oracle Sql/plsql
8-Preferred-Accessibility development and troubleshooting, Spring Authentication, Design pattern, application architecture , technical lead skills with experience leading application teams.
