Analyst | Project Management / Asset Management
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide project management expertise to all of Tavros’s current ground up development projects, as well as asset management expertise throughout Tavros’s existing portfolio of multifamily and commercial assets.

Responsibilities

Work with staff, consultants, and government agencies to manage and complete the design, entitlement, construction, and lease-up processes

Work with federal, state, and city agencies and consultants to manage applicable tax programs and abatements

Manage and coordinate the development consultant team, including expediters, attorneys, engineers, architects, utility companies and other-third party consultants

Oversee and assist the construction team, including general contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors

Generate and update schedules, budgets, timelines, financial information, and other projections as necessary

Perform due diligence and provide opinions for property, design, financial, construction, leasing, and legal matters

Prepare for and present organizational objectives and projects at both public and private meetings

Assist with the preparation of RFPs and solicitation of bids. Review, recommend awards, and manage consultant and building construction contracts

Monitor construction progress through on-site observations and provide reporting

Maintain knowledge of proposed and potential regulatory changes affecting development and requirements in order to utilize or compensate for changes which may impact the project

Manage development cost and payment requisition processes

Perform detailed financial analysis and prepare asset management reports as needed

Review monthly operating reports to help track operating performance, operating budget variances, and significant changes in assets

Actively monitor and manage owned assets with property managers and operating partners to maximize value

Research new cost-effective approaches to reduce property operating expenses

Ensure the completion of tasks within acceptable time frames through the preparation, review and management of schedules by coordinating and managing participants

Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Ability to develop and manage budgets and understand job cost management

Education and Experience Requirements

3 years of experience in real estate, architecture, engineering, or construction management

Focus in asset management / ground up development management experience

Advanced PC skills: particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Experience with Bluebeam Revu desired

Experience navigating NYC permitting and tax programs

Experience managing development, zoning process, community outreach, design management, budgeting and execution

Experience with consultant and construction contracts, project and property management, license agreements and construction management

Additional Requirements
