Position Overview:
Rahway Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to serve as a Transportation Specialist. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to student success, collaboration, and fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. This role plays a vital part in supporting the district's mission to provide high-quality education and services to all students.
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing school busing, maintenance and pupil transportation
* Demonstrated skills in personnel management, routing, scheduling, fleet maintenance and cost containment
* Such other qualifications of academic, professional, and personal excellence as the Rahway Board of Education may specify
Evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with NJ State law and the provisions of the Board's policy on evaluations.
Reports to: Board Secretary/Business Administrator or designee
