About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the organization, with a focus on both strategic planning and day-to-day financial operations. Key responsibilities include leading all financial operations such as budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash management, serving as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, and ensuring compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. The successful candidate will also oversee revenue cycle management, present financial results and strategic initiatives to the Board of Directors, and drive process improvements, cost optimization, and financial system enhancements.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA strongly preferred. A minimum of 12 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within healthcare or nonprofit, is required. The role demands a deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement models and the regulatory environment, as well as proven experience in partnering with executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership presence, the ability to influence across the organization, and a hands-on approach that balances strategic and tactical operations.
