Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Previous experience working with elementary-aged children is highly preferred
Familiarity with developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
Knowledge of IEP processes and comfort working with students who have specialized education plans
Strong observational, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with teachers, therapists, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct behavioral intervention to students according to established plans
Track progress and consistently document session outcomes
Support classroom staff in managing behavior and following interventions
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal setting as needed
Adapt interventions to best meet each student's unique needs
Provide encouragement and reinforcement to help students achieve milestones
