About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary and mission-driven Chief Executive Officer to lead its philanthropic efforts in support of one of the world's leading scientific and technological institutions. The CEO will be responsible for setting and articulating a compelling long-term vision, partnering with the Board and senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, and ensuring the organization's continued relevance and leadership in the philanthropic landscape. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in senior fundraising, the ability to engage and steward major donors, and a deep commitment to the advancement of scientific excellence and innovation. The successful candidate will also be tasked with strengthening the partnership with the Technion, aligning fundraising priorities with academic and institutional objectives, and serving as the primary representative of the organization, both nationally and internationally.
Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive senior leadership experience, with a strong background in philanthropy, academia, or mission-driven organizations. The role requires a leader with exceptional emotional intelligence, cultural fluency, and the ability to operate effectively in both U.S. and international contexts. Experience in overseeing multifaceted operations, including finance, development, and communications, is essential, as is a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at anticipating global trends, and will demonstrate a commitment to inclusive, high-performance leadership. A Bachelor's degree is required, with advanced academic preparation or equivalent experience preferred. The CEO must also possess the personal attributes of integrity, resilience, and a clear sense of purpose that inspires trust and collective action.
