About the Role

The Company is in search of a President & Chief Executive Officer to spearhead its mission as a leading convention and event facility. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and visionary leader with a strong commercial acumen, tasked with advancing the organization's role as a strategic economic engine. This pivotal role involves delivering world-class experiences for clients, attendees, and the community, while ensuring the company's operations, sales, marketing, finance, and stakeholder engagement are in line with the long-term vision of the region as a global destination.

As the CEO, you will be responsible for enterprise leadership and will have direct oversight of a diverse team, including a Deputy CEO/CFO, Chief of Hospitality and Client Experience, Chief of Infrastructure and Modernization, Executive Director of Marketing & Communications, Controller, and Vice President of HR & Legal Affairs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar executive position, with a deep understanding of the intersection of tourism, economic development, and civic engagement. Key skills for this role include strategic planning, financial management, and the ability to foster strong relationships with the Board of Directors, staff, and external stakeholders. A background in the management of large-scale events and a passion for creating memorable experiences is essential.
