Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Take on a fulfilling contract role providing speech-language therapy services to students across three school sites, with an office based at Cane River Middle School. This opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering 37.5 hours per week over five days. You will make a meaningful impact, supporting a caseload of approximately 40-50 students from pre-K through 12th grade, with most students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Key Qualifications:Active North Carolina SLP license (CCC required)Completion of DHHS Pre-K background check prior to startExperience working with diverse student populations, ideally across a range of agesStrong understanding of IEP process and paperworkExcellent communication, organization, and time management skills Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality speech therapy services tailored to individual student needsManage documentation, case notes, and service tracking within ECATSComplete all paperwork and documentation required for IEPsServe as case manager for students where Speech Impaired is the sole eligibility, including organizing and facilitating IEP meetingsCollaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and compliance with special education regulationsDeliver speech therapy to students at Headstart and a private school site as assigned This engaging contract position begins August 6, 2026 and concludes June 2, 2027.
