Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week, but consideration will also be given to qualified part-time applicants. Be ready to start as soon as possible and serve through August 7, 2026, supporting students across multiple locations with your expertise. In this role, you will first provide coverage for maternity leaves in Lackawanna County. Later in the assignment, your focus will transition to working with itinerant students in the Dunmore area during the spring. This is an onsite position, allowing you to collaborate directly with students, educators, and other professionals. Key Qualifications:Holds a current and valid Pennsylvania SLP licensure Possesses the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Demonstrated school-based SLP experience Able to secure and maintain PA state clearances Reliable means of transportation required Comfortable working onsite (no remote/virtual services involved) Must be ready to interview via Zoom Primary Responsibilities:Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families Complete evaluations and document progress in line with school policies Adapt to covering different locations and varied caseloads, including itinerant support Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning This is a unique chance to grow within the education environment while making a real impact on students’ communication skills and success.
