Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication needs by providing skilled speech-language therapy services in a dynamic school setting. This full-time contract position (35 hours per week) offers a blend of direct support and flexibility, with part-time applicants also welcome to apply. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through August 7, 2026; initially, you’ll cover maternity leaves in the Lackawanna County area, transitioning in spring to work with itinerant students nearby. A few highlights of what we’re seeking: Qualifications/Experience:Current and active Pennsylvania SLP licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior experience working in a school setting Ability to complete and maintain all PA school clearances Reliable transportation for travel to multiple sites Comfortable working onsite (no teletherapy assignments)
Key Responsibilities:Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments, document progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Manage a caseload impacted by coverage needs, adapting as students and assignments shift Serve as a resource to teachers, families, and staff Ensure timely compliance with all required documentation and reporting
