Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in northeast Pennsylvania. This full-time opportunity, offering 35 hours per week with part-time options for flexible candidates, begins as soon as possible and runs through August 7, 2026. You’ll first provide crucial coverage for maternity leaves in Lackawanna County, then transition to serving itinerant students in the Dunmore area during the spring months. The role is onsite, fostering direct connection with students and staff as you help diverse learners achieve their communication goals. Ideal candidates bring:Active Pennsylvania SLP license (must be current and in good standing)ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s)Demonstrated school-based SLP experienceAbility to obtain and complete all PA-required clearancesReliable personal transportation to commute between sites as neededAdaptability to changing caseloads and student needs throughout the contractCommitment to in-person service delivery (virtual work is not available for this assignment) In this role, responsibilities include:Delivering speech and language therapy services to students with varied needsCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to develop and implement IEPsAssessing, documenting, and communicating students’ progressParticipating in IEP meetings and supporting compliance with school policiesAdapting strategies and supports for itinerant student populations in spring Interviews are conducted conveniently via Zoom, ensuring an efficient process for interested applicants.
