Contact: Ally Boelstler Call/Text: 586-710-7958 What You’ll Do: In this role, you’ll provide general nursing care and clinical duties within your LPN scope, supporting a structured medical environment. Core responsibilities for Correctional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) include: Check vital signs, administer medications, and perform ordered treatments Implement assigned nursing care plans under direction of the RN/Physician Observe and report physical and emotional changes/behaviors Maintain accurate documentation (including entering health data into an electronic medical record system) Follow infection control procedures at all times Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic hygiene needs when required Respond to emergencies and provide first aid/CPR as appropriate Maintain supply inventory and support incident reporting when needed Minimum Qualifications for Correctional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Current Pennsylvania LPN license (or eligible to sit for the Practical Nurse Licensure Examination) Comfortable with computers and basic applications (Microsoft Office, etc.) Ability to document care and enter data into electronic medical records Strong written and verbal communication skills Ready to apply or have questions?
