Junior Financial Analyst

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join our Trade Compliance team. This role will focus on collecting, analyzing, and reporting financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and informed decision-making. Key responsibilities include data entry, variance analysis, financial modeling, and creating performance evaluation reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel and analytical skills, along with Power BI knowledge. This entry-level position requires 0-2 years of experience and is suitable for individuals with a strong academic background in finance or accounting and a keen interest in international trade, offering a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities • Collect, process, and verify financial data from various sources, ensuring accuracy. • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports related to customs tariffs, customs brokerage fees, and VAT liability. • Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget) and trend analysis. • Support financial modeling and forecasting activities. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to financial planning. • Manage and reconcile various reports in SAP and Excel. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Entry-level, requiring 0-2 years of relevant experience, with work performed under close supervision. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that values collaboration. • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail. • Ability to take initiatives to improve processes and implement solutions independently. • Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
