
Pediatric Hospitalist Position AdventHealth Lake Nona

Overview
AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for dynamic and energetic pediatric hospitalists with a focus and interest in newborn care to join our team at the new AdventHealth Lake Nona.
Schedule would consist of both restricted (in hospital) and unrestricted 24‑hour call (from home) resulting in approximately 12 shifts per month.
Responsibilities
Well newborn care admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
High‑risk delivery attendance and newborn stabilization
Newborn coordination of transfers to higher level of care as indicated
ED pediatric consults
Pediatric patient care within the Pediatric Observation Unit
Qualifications
Board Certification or eligibility with the American Board of Pediatrics is required.

AH Lake Nona is located on a 60‑acre health and wellness campus with many services opening Nov. 30th 2026. The location will offer medical innovations on a campus designed around whole‑person health with comprehensive services, destination lifestyle programs, and much more that will shape the next generation of health care. While we are starting with 55 licensed beds at opening, the number of licensed beds at full build will be 335. We will start with 5 ORs, 2 Endoscopy suites, and 2 Cath Labs.
Hospital specialties include 24‑bed emergency department, bariatrics, cancer care, advanced oncology surgery, cardiology, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, general surgery, home care, hospice care, imaging, lab services, men's health including longevity program, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, obstetrics featuring “The Baby Place,” sports medicine and rehabilitation, urology, women’s health including a longevity program, breast and advanced GYN surgeries.
Unique features include a 10‑story hospital with a 5‑story medical office building, advanced robotic and MIS surgeries, incisionless surgical suite, focused‑energy treatments, smart rooms and hospital technology, a health and wellness destination featuring retail, dining, a lake promenade, event lawn, amphitheater, tie‑in to the Lake Nona Trail, an AdventHealth Innovation Lab with over 25,000 SF of R&D, and a health tourism elevated concierge program.
