Client Requirements Below:
**5+ years of experience in Procurement/Buying (Electronic Components or Sheet Metal)
** EPICOR (ERP) Experience highly preferred
** Excel - VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables proficiency if a must will be dealing with large data sets
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end purchase activities with domestic and international suppliers, including entering purchase orders, expediting shipments, and confirming transaction accuracy.
Address and resolve discrepancies such as over-shipments, shortages, changes to order quantities, delivery schedules, and pricing, communicating updates to stakeholders promptly.
Support the Purchasing Manager with the preparation and release of RFQs/RFPs (requests for quotes/proposals).
Serve as a liaison between internal departments and suppliers to resolve procurement-related issues.
Process non-conforming material and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests with supply chain partners.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels in line with company targets and management directives.
Ensure data accuracy within Epicor, including commodity codes, lead times, pricing, supplier details, and purchase orders.
Regularly review and recommend adjustments to Epicor inventory parameters (minimum, maximum, safety stock).
Track supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality specifications, maintaining records of performance discussions.
Support team objectives by assisting with additional procurement tasks as required.
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make timely, effective purchasing decisions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Planning, or related field preferred.
CPM or APICS certification is a plus.
Minimum five years’ procurement experience, including purchasing, inventory management, and supplier relationship management.
Working knowledge of MRP processes; Epicor experience strongly preferred.
Experience in contract manufacturing and import freight logistics is beneficial.
Proficient in sourcing electronic components, interpreting technical specifications, and collaborating with Engineering, Quality Control, and Production teams.
