If you are interested in this LTC Pharmacist position, please contact Lindsay at 5867107959 or LKOPASZ@ALINESTAFFING.com LTC Pharmacist Compensation The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates LTC Pharmacist Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is 2nd shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, with alternating weekends LTC Pharmacist Responsibilities Accept and dispense prescription medications Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and appropriateness Maintain accurate and confidential patient records Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions Provide clinical services and patient education on medical devices Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as required Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff Maintain proper inventory of medications and supplies Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to resolve medication-related issues LTC Pharmacist Requirements Active Pennsylvania LTC Pharmacist license in good standing Experience working in a pharmacy setting Strong attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and medication safety Ability to supervise staff and work in a team environment Basic computer skills High School Diploma or GED Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days LTC Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience Experience with AS400 operating system Sterile compounding experience If you think this LTC Pharmacist position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
