If you are interested in this Pharmacy Technician position, please contact Lindsay at 5867107959 / LKOPASZ@ALINESTAFFING.com Pharmacy Technician Compensation The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Pharmacy Technician Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs T he required availability for this position is rotating shifts (7:00 AM – 9:00 PM range) with rotating weekends (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications Enter prescription and billing data into computer systems for processing and reimbursement Assist with prepackaging medications for dispensing in compliance with regulations Support Pharmacist with final prescription verification and preparation for delivery Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers Assist with inventory management including receiving, rotating stock, and tracking expiration dates Participate in physical inventory counts as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and clean Pharmacy Technician Requirements High School Diploma or GED Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under supervision Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills for data entry and prescription processing Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications Previous pharmacy technician or healthcare experience Experience with IV preparation or sterile compounding Experience in a retail, hospital, or mail-order pharmacy setting If you think this Pharmacy Technician position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
