If you are interested in this IV Compounding Clean Room Pharmacy Technician position, please contact Lindsay at 5867107959 or LKOPASZ@ALINESTAFFING.com IV Compounding Clean Room Pharmacy Technician Compensation · The pay for this position is $22.92 per hour · Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment · A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates IV Compounding Clean Room Pharmacy Technician Highlights · This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs · The required availability for this position is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with expectation to stay until work is completed) On-call rotation required every 3rd weekend IV Compounding Clean Room Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities Work in a clean room environment as an IV/sterile compounding technician Prepare IV medications including antibiotics and TPN compounds Perform sterile compounding in compliance with USP 797 standards Maintain clean room operations including cleaning, monitoring, and environmental compliance Conduct environmental monitoring and ensure regulatory compliance standards are met Support infection control and compounding safety procedures Maintain stock of clean room cleaning supplies and place supply orders as needed Ensure compliance with biannual employee training and regulatory requirements Assist Registered Pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and verifying IV medications Support prescription filling and preparation of medications under pharmacist supervision Enter prescription and billing data into computer systems for processing and reimbursement Maintain inventory control including receiving, rotating stock, and tracking expiration dates Assist with physical inventory counts and pharmacy documentation Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant pharmacy work environment IV Compounding Clean Room Pharmacy Technician Requirements High School Diploma or GED Experience in IV compounding and sterile clean room environments Experience with home infusion pharmacy operations Knowledge of USP 797 standards Experience with antibiotic and TPN compounding Familiarity with environmental monitoring and compliance procedures Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict sterile procedures Ability to work independently and under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days IV Compounding Clean Room Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications Leadership potential or prior lead technician experience Prior experience in hospital or home infusion pharmacy settings Strong compliance and quality assurance background Experience managing clean room supply inventory and ordering processes If you think this IV Compounding Clean Room Pharmacy Technician position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
