Job Title: Shipping Coordinator
Job Description
The Shipping Coordinator oversees daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring that all outbound and inbound shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with aerospace and military regulations. This role handles a variety of shipping methods, performs detailed data entry in an M1 computer system, and collaborates closely with carriers and internal teams to support a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and process outbound shipments using FedEx, freight, ground, and air services in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, including labels, packing lists, and export paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Manage export shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant export requirements and aerospace and military regulations.
Perform shipping and receiving functions, including checking incoming goods against purchase orders and verifying quantities and condition.
Accurately enter shipment data, tracking numbers, and inventory information into the M1 computer system and other internal databases.
Verify orders and shipment contents with a high level of attention to detail to prevent errors and discrepancies.
Use basic math skills to weigh, count, and measure packages and materials as needed for shipping and receiving.
Communicate clearly and professionally with carriers, warehouse staff, and internal departments to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and issue resolution.
Prioritize and manage multiple shipments and tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve shipping errors, discrepancies, or delays, escalating issues when necessary.
Follow all aerospace, military, and internal shipping regulations, guidelines, and quality standards.
Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas, ensuring that materials, paperwork, and equipment are properly stored and accessible.
Adhere to all safety procedures and operational policies related to warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loveland, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $23.40/hr.
