PACE Supply is looking for a driven and detail-oriented VMI Supervisor to lead the end-to-end delivery of our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs for Service & Repair customers.
In this role, you won't just manage inventory - you'll revolutionize how VMI is delivered. You'll transform it from a routine service into a strategic growth engine, owning the full project lifecycle from visionary design and seamless implementation to smart system integration. Responsibilities
Project Implementation & Customer Buildout
Lead end-to-end VMI project management for new customer onboarding, including scope definition, timeline management, and successful launch.
Coordinate cross-functional launch teams (Sales, Operations, Branch, and IT) to ensure consistent execution.
Manage technical integrations with Service Titan and other ERP systems, partnering with IT and Ecommerce for accurate data flow.
Develop and maintain standardized SOPs to deliver a repeatable, "plug-and-play" customer experience.
Strategic Sales Enablement & Market Alignment
Collaborate with Service & Repair leadership and Regional Sales Managers to build go-to-market strategies and evaluate new VMI opportunities.
Create and manage a "Generic Inventory Platform" with pre-configured products and pricing for rapid deployment.
Provide sales teams with project updates and performance insights to support customer retention and expansion.
Inventory Strategy & Performance Optimization
Oversee initial inventory selection and conduct regular relevance audits to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
Track key performance metrics (fill rates, stockouts, overstock, turns) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate replenishment processes across branches to minimize logistical friction and maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
High school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred. A combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
Bachelor's degree in Constuction Management preferred.
Proven project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Background in inventory management, supply chain, or Vendor Managed Inventory programs strongly preferred.
Experience with ERP systems and technical integrations (Service Titan experience is a plus).
Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments and levels.
Highly organized, process-oriented, and detail-focused.
Plumbing, PVF, or building materials industry experience is highly desirable
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Proper Phone Etiquette, Phocas Dashboards, Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity, Effective written and oral communication.
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
