Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer III with a focus on Privileged Access Management (PAM) to support and enhance enterprise credential management systems.

This role provides technical engineering and operational support for the Automated Password Reset (APS) application, built on the Bravura Password Manager platform. The position is centered on platform stability, configuration, integration support, and operational health-not software development. Development responsibilities remain with dedicated engineering teams.

This role is critical to maintaining system reliability, supporting audit and regulatory commitments, and reducing operational risk-particularly in environments with high system interdependencies and limited subject matter redundancy.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical engineering and operational support for the APS platform and Bravura Password Manager
Support configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of APS integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, Oracle databases, mainframes, and non-AD platforms)
Analyze and manage authentication workflows, credential policies, and access control mechanisms
Assist in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production issues
Support platform upgrades, vendor patches, and post-upgrade stabilization activities
Perform environment validation and system health checks across DEV, QA, and PROD
Contribute to ongoing database migration efforts and capacity planning initiatives
Evaluate and maintain integrations across 10+ connected enterprise systems
Support access, entitlement, and password management workflows across integrated environments
Collaborate with software engineers, IAM architects, and service owners to ensure seamless transition between development and operations
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives) as a platform SME
Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational readiness materials
Support production changes and assist with critical issues, including occasional after-hours escalations
Required Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in password or credential management, identity and access management (IAM), or information security engineering
Hands-on experience supporting PAM tools or credential management platforms (e.g., Bravura, CyberArk, or similar)
Strong working knowledge of SQL and Python
Experience with LDAP and Active Directory environments
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and operate independently with strong initiative
Solid understanding of authentication systems, access control models, and security best practices
Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years of software development experience (ability to read and interpret code)
Experience with CyberArk Password Vault or similar PAM solutions
Familiarity with identity governance tools (e.g., SailPoint)
CISSP or other relevant security certifications
Experience in regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare (HIPAA familiarity is a plus)
