Description
This role contributes to our Depot Services offering, specifically in-house technical services. Individuals will be assigned tasks based on needs with a focus on the repairs, configurations, and support activity around asset & lifecycle management for Retail, Office, and Consumer Technology equipment.
This equipment includes but not limited to PC's, laptops, laser printers, receipt printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other devices and peripherals both standard and specialized for point of sale and office settings.
Individuals can expect a blended work environment primarily within the configuration center but may be required to assist in warehousing tasks as needed.
Level 2 - Intermediate, Skilled
Continued demonstration of expertise in core responsibilities
High level of product and/or contract familiarity
Initiative in identifying and addressing inefficiencies or issues in their workflow
Consistently delivers results that meet expectations and directly contribute to team objectives
Typically handles moderately complex tasks, with moderate/low supervision with minimal decision-makin
Responsibilities:
Configurations:
Evaluate customer needs based on work orders to determine necessary software packages, device configurations, and any additional customizations.
Repairs:
Identify hardware and software issues, as well as replace physical components for devices and/or peripherals.
Support:
Assist with tasks such as asset tagging, work order triaging, quality control, inbounding assets into work order system, packaging finished goods, and order entry while providing support for configurations and repairs as needed.
All team members are responsible for contributing to overall productivity, meeting customer objectives, and accurately tracking customer assets through systematic processes. Responsibilities and area of focus may shift as needs shift.

Requirements:
Ability to lift and move devices up to 60 lbs and remain mobile throughout a shift in a blended warehouse/lab environment.
Solid understanding of PC/Laptop devices with the ability to perform component-level replacements (motherboards, screens, keyboards, and internal peripherals).
Hands-on experience with OS imaging (Windows/ChromeOS) and familiarity with MDM environments (such as Intune, Jamf, or AirWatch) for automated device enrollment.
Familiarity with configuring non-standard hardware, such as thermal printers, barcode scanners, or POS terminals.
High attention to detail regarding system accuracy pertaining to serial number and device tracking.
Ability to follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for large-scale rollouts as well as everyday activity.
Comfortable engaging with client technical teams to align on configuration standards and resolve real-time imaging or hardware issues during the deployment process.
