Overview
Seeking a highly collaborative Business Analyst / Scrum Master to support our Data & Analytics team. This individual will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technical solutions while facilitating Agile processes for a cross-functional team. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and a team of 4-5 data professionals to ensure clear requirements, efficient delivery, and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for data initiatives.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
Serve as Scrum Master for the team, facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure the team remains focused, removes blockers, and stays aligned with sprint goals and priorities.
Act as a liaison between business users, data engineers, and analysts to ensure shared understanding and successful delivery.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and product owners.
Monitor team progress, track deliverables, and provide transparency through Agile metrics and reporting.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve team processes, communication, and delivery efficiency.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience serving as a Scrum Master or facilitating Agile teams.
Strong experience gathering and documenting both business and technical requirements.
Familiarity with data environments, including data warehousing, reporting, or analytics projects.
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
