As a

Central Registration Specialist , you'll be the first contact point for clients and visitors accessing the agency's services. You'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment, managing appointments, and supporting administrative workflows. You'll work closely with medical and administrative teams to keep operations running efficiently and deliver a positive experience for everyone.

What You'll Do
As a Central Registration Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Providing a friendly and professional initial contact to clients and visitors, greeting and directing them appropriately.
Answering incoming phone calls for all programs, ensuring calls are routed correctly.
Collecting co-payments and self-payments for services rendered.
Starting and updating intake paperwork for new and returning clients.
Escorting clients within the facility as needed and maintaining a clean, comfortable waiting area.
Opening the facility daily, including unlocking doors, turning on lights, and setting up petty cash.
Scheduling initial and follow-up appointments via phone and managing no-show processes through calls and letters.
Handling mail distribution, office supplies, and communicating with Facilities for building maintenance issues.
Supporting special projects, creating reports, and maintaining agency databases as assigned.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:

High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in an office environment.
Excellent communication skills, with a high level of professionalism on the phone and in person.
Experience in a healthcare or medical setting preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
