Hybrid - Onsite Tuesday-Thursday | Remote Monday & Friday
Compensation:
$40-42/hour, plus PTO, paid holidays, and optional benefits
Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and solution-driven
Supply Chain Coordinator
to manage complex supplier and part-related challenges in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a critical part in resolving supply disruptions, mitigating risk, and ensuring continuity of operations to minimize customer impact.
The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, effectively manages a high-volume workload, and collaborates cross-functionally with purchasing, logistics, and operations teams. Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to communicate clearly with leadership are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
Resolve supplier capacity constraints and supply disruptions to prevent customer impact
Analyze supplier performance data to identify risks, validate recovery plans, and ensure timely resolution
Lead engagement with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address escalated supply and fulfillment issues
Coordinate cross-functionally (purchasing, logistics, operations) to align ownership, timelines, and actions
Manage and drive resolution of aged or escalated cases, including backorders and critical shortages
Develop, implement, and continuously improve supplier recovery plans for time-sensitive issues
Evaluate and coordinate expedited freight or alternative logistics solutions to mitigate supply gaps
Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving to minimize service disruptions and operational downtime
Implement creative countermeasures, including process improvements, scheduling adjustments, alternate sourcing, and logistics solutions
Prepare concise summaries of risks, issues, and recommendations for leadership review
Provide clear, timely communication on status updates, escalations, and recovery progress
Support urgent and time-sensitive escalations, including occasional extended or off-hours coverage
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues to leadership clearly and concisely
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage stakeholder relationships
Experience working with supplier performance metrics and supply chain data
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related business systems/tools
High attention to detail with strong ownership and accountability
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
2-5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related analytical role
Experience working with suppliers, order fulfillment, or production support strongly preferred
Work Environment
Fast-paced, deadline-driven setting with frequent shifts in priorities
Requires responsiveness to escalations and business-critical issues
